Principal’s Message

Rose Valley Elementary School is a proud, growing school in West Kelowna and acknowledge, with gratitude, that we are located on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) People. We are a collaborative learning community. We all belong, have purpose, and strive to be contributing citizens. We value kindness, respect, responsibility, and community. Each year, we take up a new call to action:

To Serve Others and the Community
To Have Joy and Bring Joys to Others

This year's call is to Notice, Encourage, and Celebrate Each Other

Each call to action aligns with our values and growth goals. Together, we are growing positive and industrious citizens.

Our school family includes 325 learners from Kindergarten to Grade 5. Artifacts of student learning are captured in the evidence section or our School Community Learning Plan, a living document that is refined and updated regularly.

It is a gift to work and learn alongside a dedicated staff of professionals. Together, we strive to design meaningful and differentiated learning opportunities that meet the needs of each learner in our community. With engaged and positive students, and active and supportive families, Rose Valley is a truly special learning community. We love where we learn.
